BIFM will be discussing the findings of The Workplace Advantage report from the Stoddart Review as one of the keynote speakers at next month’s FM Ireland conference.
Presented by BIFM’s information and research manager Peter Brogan, the talk is one of two sessions being led by BIFM during the second day of the two-day conference and expo taking place in Dublin on 7 and 8 March.
Published at the end of last year, The Workplace Advantage by the Stoddart Review, of which BIFM is a founding partner, revealed that an effective workplace can improve business productivity by as much as 3.5% - potentially adding up to £70billion to the UK economy.
The second session will focus on the Internet of Things and its likely impact on the role of the FM.
This is the third year that BIFM is supporting FM Ireland, which was launched in direct response to the growth in Irish companies looking for information and solutions to improve their efficiency and reduce running costs and aims to meet the needs of those responsible for maintaining and managing commercial, industrial, retail, educational, government and other large facilities and working environments.
BIFM’s strategic development manager Neil Everitt said: “BIFM is always looking for ways to increase the provision of relevant content for the FM market in Ireland as well as provide networking opportunities for FM professionals.
“FM Ireland is a long-established event in the business calendar and BIFM is happy to again be supporting the conference by providing a range of meaningful seminar content. Members of the BIFM Ireland committee and staff will be in attendance at the event and they would be pleased to see you there.”
