Getting started with CPD and creating your CPD Record
The BIFM offers members an online tool to manage and record your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Once logged in, members can use the system to record their employment history, learning ‘experiences’ and create CPD certificates.
A simple questionnaire allows you to rate yourself on the BIFM
competences*, showing you the areas where you might wish to improve your knowledge by undertaking further CPD, and provides a link to BIFM CPD events that may be relevant.
You can record any new experience that contributes to your CPD, and creating an experience based on attendance of a BIFM Group CPD event is particularly easy. Simply entering the unique Event ID number provided by the Event Co-ordinator will automatically populate your record with details of the event and the competences covered.
Entering the unique Event ID for a BIFM Group event will also allow an attendee to generate a CPD Certificate for that event.
