What the judges say ….

Part of MITIE Group Plc, MITIE Client Services is the specialist provider of bespoke front-of-house services to a range of clients around the UK. This includes corporate reception, switchboard, and helpdesk, meeting room or event management.  The judges noted that the commitment to retaining and development team members was demonstrated throughout every aspect of the submission.

There was a strong theme of reinforcing positive behaviour through training and development. The vision statement of “creating exceptional, memorable experiences… one guest at a time” was totally aligned to driving every part of the Learning and Development program.

A key outcome of the program was to influence and inspire the team’s behaviours. The Judges noted that an innovative program was achieving significant results. The division has grown 43% in the last year alone, and despite 73% of the team being transferred under TUPE (transfer under previous employment) an impressive 95% of the MITIE team said that the Training Programs ensure that they deliver on our vision of “creating exceptional, memorable experiences”.  In addition in an engagement survey, 85% or respondents agreed with the statement “the training has long-lasting effects on my behaviour and performance”.
