Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognises individuals who have made a significant contribution to facilities management over the course of their career.
WINNER: Christopher Stoddart
|Awarded FM of the Year in 2011, not only did Chris achieve so much professionally but he also played an active part within the Institute including roles with the Fellowís Forum, WIFM, Rising FMs, People Management and sitting on BIFMís Governance committee. That he should be such an advocate for the BIFM, and one of the Instituteís most experienced judges, fits with Chrisís natural talent for helping others.|
Having worked in senior positions for both Citigroup and Cyril Sweett, Chris spent much of his later career with Cushman & Wakefield, most notably on the development and opening of Londonís Heron Tower and latterly Director of Facilities management at Regent Street Direct.
When he passed on unexpectedly in August 2014, Chris was working as lead Judge on the FM of the Year Award. That he could juggle the multi-faceted Regent Street role with such an exacting and time consuming judging requirement is testimony to a man who most saw as unfailingly likeable and professional.
