In recognition of 'Volunteer of the Year' and Volunteer Knowledge Contribution' Awards

Volunteer of the Year
For 2018, the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award saw a change in the application process with one committee member nominated by their Region or SIG Chair. The Chairs submitted an application highlighting the wonderful voluntary work of the nominated individual and to recognise their dedication and commitment in supporting the committee and adding value to the membership, BIFM and the wider profession. There was a secret ballot to select a winner by Members Council attendees.

Volunteer Knowledge Contribution
The ‘Volunteer Knowledge Contribution’ award will be selected and judged by BIFM, alongside Peter Brogan BIFM Head of Research & Insights. The winner of this award will be aligned to the relevant category criteria and will be recognised for the development, contribution and dedication to developing a significant knowledge piece for members and the wider profession.

All entries must be submitted by 17:00 Friday 25 May to emma.brown@bifm.org.uk or communities@bifm.org.uk

Winners will be announced on 5 July at the BIFM Annual General Meeting in Manchester.
