Diana Spellman, Managing Director, founded PARTNERS IN PURCHASING LTD (PIP) in 1998 and established the company as the premier quality food, beverage ingredient & catering services sourcing agency which buys food and beverages for 120 million meals a year on behalf of their clients. These span financial services, business and industry, leisure, education and healthcare. PIP is the market leading buying group for ethical, sustainable and environmental solutions. Drawing from her experience of Farm to Fork sourcing, and her published paper for the Nuffield Agricultural Trust, Diana will share her research and experience to the new and exciting ingredients which create sustainable food sources to feed humans and animals for the future forecasted population expansion.

Ann Bentley, Global Board Director, Rider Levett Bucknall

Global Director of Rider Levett Bucknall, which employs 500 staff in the UK and 3,600 worldwide, operating in over 40 countries.

Ann is a member of the UK Governmentís Construction Leadership Council, a member of the CBIís Construction Council and an advisor to the Construction Industry Council. She is a Member of the Institution for Civil Engineers (MICE), a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and holds an MBA from Henley Business School.

Ann is a visiting Professor of Business Management, Project Management and Quantity Surveying at Birmingham City University and a visiting lecturer in the School of Construction Management and Engineering at Reading University.

Working in the property and construction sector for over 35 years, Ann is experienced in working with commercial, public and third sector clients.

Alex Gill, Managing Director, CBRE UK Services

Alex started his career in the Aerospace industry working for Rolls-Royce in Procurement. After a number of positions including international placements in the USA, Alex moved to work for Carillion for three years. Following that, Alex moved to CBRE, working in Business Development for two years before moving into operations and progressing through to Managing Director of UK Services over the last four years.

Ross Hayes, NEC Consultant and Trainer

Workshop: Standardised Contracts - What Should an FM Model Look Like?

Ross Hayes is an independent consultant and tutor specialising in the NEC contracts, particularly for Thomas Telford. He is part of their NEC drafting team and was one of the drafters for the NEC4 suite, including the Term Service Contract (TSC). He has recently been involved in the development of the new NEC Alliance Contract and regularly provides public and in-house training on NEC contracts.

Ross has extensive experience of the Term Service Contract from its inceotion, putting together one of the first such contracts with his previous employers, Anthony Collins Solicitors LLP using the early consultative version. He has subsequently advised on its strategy, development and use throughout the housing, energy, facilities management and highways sectors; particularly for the public sector, both central and local government.

Chris Jeffers, Partner & Consultant, Rider Levett Bucknall & BIFM Procurement SIG Chair

Summary of Contract Management in FM: Best Practice

Chris is a Partner and Head of Facilities Management Consultancy at leading property and construction consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall. He is chair of the BIFM Procurement Special Interest Group, and regularly supports and contributes to a number of industry bodies and publications, applying over two decades of knowledge and experience in the property and facilities management sectors. He has also been a BIFM Educational Standards assessor, and is a RICS APC mentor.

Chrisí depth of experience and expertise enables him to understand varied client requirements related to property management, FM and asset lifecycle cost advice and operational strategies, as well as valuable insight into planning and costing FM services and asset replacement for a wide range of building types.

Justine Cooper, Global Head of Property Information, Rolls Royce

Contract Management in FM - The Voice of the Client

Justine Cooper started her career in supply chain roles for M&S before moving into FMCG at Novartis Consumer Health and onwards into Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Justine moved into Procurement in Novartis in the early 2000s and led a number of procurement teams across multiple business units and countries. In 2011, one of these roles included responsibility for FM at a corporate HQ, which took Justine into the FM space. When Justine moved to a procurement consultancy, she worked on FM tenders at a global level. One client was Rolls-Royce, who then asked Justine to deliver a Governance & Performance framework for their FM services globally, as well as strategic management of Soft Services. Justine put this in place and has now been promoted to the Group Property Exec team to lead the new systems and software as part of the drive to use new technology in real estate management.

Anne Kinder, Senior Consultant, Nodus Solutions & BIFM Procurement SIG Deputy Chair

Anne works for Nodus Solutions, an independent facilities management consultancy who provide consultancy services to clients in the Commercial, Manufacturing, Retail and Residential Sectors in the UK and Europe. Clients include Sainsburys, Anglian Water Services, Towergate Insurance and Jaguar Land Rover. A specialist in asset, facilities, property and contract management, Anne has worked on the delivery of large, national projects that utilise her skills in strategy development, business transformation, contract specification and management, project management and Human Resources.

Anne is the MD of FMP360 Ltd, the collaboration consultancy. She also has her own FM consultancy and training practice.

An experienced and articulate Facilities Business Manager for over 30 years, Anne managed a broad spectrum of work environments for both public sector and commercial companies covering both hard & soft services and from both client and supply sides.

She was a founder member of WIFM in 2005.

In 2007 she was selected as one of the 20 most influential women in FM by FM World.

In 2013 she was awarded the Profound Impact on the FM Industry Award by the BIFM and in 2014 was given Fellowship status of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

As well as running FMP360, she is currently supporting several Universities in improving their service delivery.

In his current role as Operations Director for the Local Authority and Education Sector within VINCI Facilities, Chris has overall responsibility for the operational performance, commercial management, and growth of the Sector. Chris is a Certified Member of BIFM, a committee member of the BIFM Strategic Interest Group (SIG) for Procurement, a Chartered Facility Management Surveyor with RICS, and a RICS APC Assessor for the Facilities Management pathway.
