|Details||This course provides an overview of the range of building services and how to get the most from them to ensure your buildings work effectively.

The course will provide an overview of building design, different building types and structures.
Delegates will learn how to develop and implement a strategy for the maintenance of the building fabric and implications of different building types considered.
How to develop a comprehensive building services maintenance programme will be discussed, including condition surveys and forward maintenance plans. Also an overview of Glossary of Terms.
How to manage staff, contractors and specialists to ensure the required level of service is delivered will also be covered.
In addition, the course will provide an understanding of building management systems (BMS) and technology used to control or manage building services. The range of BMS and other relevant technologies will be explored, and impact of building services on issues such as sustainability considered.
