Procuring and Running Cleaning Contracts

BIFM has been working with FM support services expert Not Just Cleaning on revisions to the Good Practice Guide to Procuring and Running Cleaning Contracts.

The guide provides useful information and guidance to facilities professionals regarding good practice in the procurement, delivery and management of cleaning services within the full range of non-domestic buildings. It also issues guidance on the selection of an appropriate cleaning and support service provider and advises on on-going management of cleaning contracts. This guide updates the 2010 version to include information on new waste management regulations introduced earlier this year, largely driven by legislation and an increased focus on recycling of resources, as well as promoting sustainable practices.
