Counter Terrorism

Earlier in the year the Risk and Business Continuity Management SIG held a Counter Terrorism Breakfast Briefing which was heavily oversubscribed.† The terrible events in Manchester and London heighten the need for us to do all we can to counter these threats and to be prepared to respond effectively to them.

In an effort to share the content from our briefing more widely the Committee has prepared written summaries of the Police briefing and the two case studies which were presented.

Please find these below:

Summary of Police briefing

Please note the briefing was earlier in the year and you should consult the National Counter Terrorism Security Office and Metropolitan Police websites for the latest information and advice.
