BIFM seeks to appoint a Non-Executive Director (Finance)

BIFM now seeks to appoint a financially-grounded (CCAB or equivalent) Non-Executive Director onto the BIFM Board.  The role will include playing a full role in all board decisions as well as providing guidance to the Board on the Institute’s finances, and commenting on its financial performance and any significant accounting issues or policies.

During the year, NEDs usually attend 5 Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting – meetings are held in London or occasionally Bishop's Stortford.  The appointment will be for a 2 year term.  The role is not remunerated, though NEDs are recompensed for reasonable expenses.
