The energy challenges facing the facilities management sector will be the focus of a half day seminar being hosted by BIFMís Sustainability Special Interest Group for members of the Major Energy Users Council at its Mega Energy Summit and Training Forum.

About 150 senior level delegates are expected to attend the discussion being held on the second day of the two-day CPD training event at Londonís Tower Bridge Guoman Hotel on 1 and 2 March.

Four speakers from the Sustainability Special Interest Group will provide different perspectives on the role of the FM sector, some of the challenges being faced and examples of excellence already being delivered.

The two-hour afternoon session will conclude with a panel discussion allowing time for the speakers to answer any questions.

BIFM members are invited to attend the free seminar, or are welcome to attend the full two days training at no charge. Places at the Membersí dinner and pre-dinner drinks reception are available for the cost of £95 per head.

This year, the MEUC is celebrating its 30th year representing its membersí interest to government and helping them help themselves in navigating the complex gas, electricity, water and carbon markets through regular information, meetings and one-to-one support.
