BIFM extends international reach as QBG joins as a Corporate Member

This is what FM & Commercial Director Sara Momtaz noted as her organisation, describing itself as ‘one of the leading facilities Management service providers in UAE and Oman’ this week became the newest corporate member of the British Institute of Facilities Management, BIFM.
Momtaz continued “At QBG we believe that great customer service can only be delivered by great people and we are seriously committed to developing our staff to deliver great service for our customers. As the professional body for the FM sector, BIFM supports FM professionals as well as promoting the profession. We are excited to be associated with the Institute and look forward to working together to develop QBG and the FM profession in UAE”.

The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) is the professional body for facilities management. Since 1993, it has been promoting excellence in facilities management for the benefit of practitioners, the economy and society supporting and representing a community of 17,000 professionals around the world, and many others through qualifications and training.
In Spring 2018 the BIFM published a Manifesto for Change, recognising the evolution of the industry and the opportunities presented by workplace, to reposition FM as a strategic driver of workplace performance; and to prepare for Chartered Body status. A new name, the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management was approved by members in July and will be formally adopted on 12 November 2018.
